I'm so excited!! I set up my wormery less than a month ago and today I saw the tiniest baby ever! He was climbing up the side of the wall (probably because of the atmospheric pressure) along with his mates. He was ever so small- about 1cm long, but so so cute!!

The kids absolutely love the worms and every day my youngest- Tim 23 months- gets the lid off and checks on them. He often walks around the house 'talking' with them.

Who knew keeping worms would be such fun??

Terrier- don't worry, its still new so theres mainly newspaper and coir in there. I've only given them banana skins and one batch of pureed veggie peelings. Once it gets warmer they are being relegated to the patio ;) (just don't tell the kids they'll cry).

My birthday is on 7th March, so I guess little Willie the worm must share it, allowing a day for him to find his legs! Can I be his godfather?
I wonder if Piscean worms share the same characteristics as human Pisceans?

Belated birthday wishes to you Jack! LOL! Sure - from now on I'll be calling you, 'The Godfather'.

Would you believe that its my birthday today [IMG] [IMG]

David how could you say such a thing :( These are not meer worms, these are family pets ;)

Characteristic of pisces (we must be a miserable bunch!):

Many Pisces dont want to receive a lot of attention but if they achieve something in the artistic area, then they appreciate it. They suffer from depressions, are hurt easily, withdraw themselves then. They have big problems with inner uncertainty, of fears, crying or hysteria. They have the feeling that they cant handle things on their own. Arguments and tensions upsets them, for this reason they distort the truth sometimes. Inner conflicts occur many times with Pisces, but they can grow above this and they can reach a condition of peace and happiness. We call that a sort of "enlightening".

Happy birthday, Ethansmum. I'll believe it's your birthday even though thousands wouldn't after you've told us that Pisceans distort the truth!
After reading the other Piscean characteristics I think I'll go into a deep depression, withdraw into myself and have a bout of crying and hysteria over the fate that probably awaits poor little Willie Worm.
Perhaps he'll grow up to be a famous artist and win the Turner prize for exhibiting an untidy wormery. That should please him!

I don't like getting too involved with kids (even my own). Can I be god-uncle?
