    Anyone tried 'jalapeno purple' chillies? Just had some seeds delivered:)

    Not tried them Andy, I grow the usual red ones , I wonder if they are just a novelty colour or actually taste different.:smile:

    Well to be honest that's really why I bought them lol
    I'm a bit of a wimp with chillies and find jalapeno just about right. Will be good to see how they turn out:)

    I only grow Shiney Hybrids and Naga. :blue thumb:

    All the purple chillies that I've seen have looked very good but not tasted them. Good luck with them :)

    Hi Andy not grown those but I have tasted them and they are good.
    I do not like blow your head off chilli's naga and the like

      We've sown 60 Shiney Hybrids and now have 100% germination. Half have been transplanted to seed trays (the other half aren't big enough yet) and we now need to wait and see how many of them survive to be potted on.

      I broke out the propagator and the grow light yesterday so it's time I got sowing...
