Very difficult to judge because of the very wide interpretations of the theme. Some are very tenous and as this is a gardening forum, I've tended to go for photos that feature gardens or plants.

1st Midnight Jungle by BM - Right on the button for interpretation of the theme and a brilliant picture of mystery and magic.

2nd Out of Poverty by Rosa - Great photo-journalism and those eyes are unforgettable

3rd Jewel in the Compost by Jarbax - Most unusual shot and the camera must have been put into the bin! The mushroom cap is pin sharp too.

I also really like Strongy's "Baileys" and Roder's "Morning".

Extra difficult this month picking just three and even more difficult assigning an order to them. I've gone for the ones that really made me think "wow" and that I'd be happy to hang on the wall.

    1st - Roders - Morning has Broken
    2nd - GlenW - Water Hawthorn
    3rd - Strongylodon - Nightime Baileys

    Pretty closely followed by -
Hornbeam - Out of the (Waterlogged) Darkness
    Petal - Angelica
    Wildflower - Squirrels
    Marge - Little White Lanterns

Well done entrants it was really interesting seeing the interpretations.

I could look forever but that would not achieve anything so I'm going for what I found the most striking ...

    1st "darkness retuns" by glenw
2nd Morning has Broken by roders
3rd Most Easterly Dawn by Petal

I would also like to say that I thought Kandyfloss's pictures were stunning also.

Sorry everyone else, you were all too good this month! [IMG]
