January 2007 Photo Competition !!

    GreenWizard has chosen the theme for this month "Out Of The Darkness".

    There will not be any prizes for this photo Competition, just the self satisfaction for gaining and showcasing your photography skills.

    Ready for the January 2007 Photo Competition?


    Please follow guidelines below :-

    1. Entries to be submitted by 23.59H on the 31st January 2007.

    2. You can enter upto three (3) pictures.

    3. Please give your picture a title

    4. Pictures are to be of the theme "Out Of The Darkness". ;)

    5. Please post your pics within this thread for entry into the competition.

    6. Pictures will have to be taken within the competition time (This January).

    7. Pictures cannot be altered from their original state (borders are allowed though).

    8. The winner will be decided by the users of the forum .

    9. The winner of the competition gets to choose the theme for the next month's competition.

    10. Please post discussion for this months pictures and about the competition HERE ;)

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Competitors vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the most vote points wins etc etc.

    3. Competitors votes should not be cast until after the competition closes and be in before 11.59pm three days after the competition closes.

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.

    Out of the (waterlogged) darkness

    A primrose breaks surface in one of my waterlogged flower beds. The thin green shoots behind are snakeshead fritillaries which are one of the few bulbs to thrive in the wet. My daffs all drown!
