I thought Mme Alfred Carrière had finished blooming two or three weeks back, but today (January 26th) I spot a bloom just opened - about 25 feet up in my Silver Birch! How is everyone else doing this Winter??

Same same, my roses have never stopped since June, no leaves but still budding and blooming

I even moved one, late Nov and this week it is in bloom, only three roses on it :)

I am only new last year to gardening, though I thought I new Roses end in Oct and come again late spring
I rembember one old gardener used to come into the pub proudly wearing the first bloom of the year on his lapel, I am sure it was late March:scratch:

Jack you must have a gift or something:love30:

I have got several dormant roses and none of them are anywhere near in bloom. All I got is a bunch of sticks and no buds at the moment.:cry3:

Talk about tucked up for winter.:(
