We met the owners of this beautiful dog while up on the Dunstable Downs last week. Her name is Alaska and she was very friendly.

I love akitas with a passion, they're amazing dogs, but takes an extremely attentive and strict owner to train one. I'm told that they can be real pains in the proverbials to get out of the instinctive habit of stomping off into other peoples and dogs faces and either getting agressive or getting too boisterous in general.

But the ones i've met with good owners have been just utterly amazing. Would love to paint one but i don't see that working with all that foof :dh: :D

nice fur..I hope the winter will be cold enough for him! I don't have a dog, but one of my favourite is the chow-chow - nice fur, but indipendent attitude.

Kedi - lovely looking dogs but as has been said they need very good owners!

Whiley, I'm sure you could! Just imagine trying to do a black poodle or as miraflores mentioned a chow, now that's a challenge. I have photo's of me with my black poodle when I was young & half the time people don't notice he's there:D

    Thanks for showing us Kedi.

    cheers
