    Hi,

I'm busy designing on paper my Japanese Garden. Apart from Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Hydrangeas, Cherry trees, Primulars. I'm finding it difficult to find Japanese plants that flower through summer. I just can't seem to find a simple list of plants that grows in Japan. All my Japanese Garden books only mentions Acers, fir trees, azaleas, etc, but not much on the flowering side.

Does anyone know which flowering plants grows in Japan? Do they have bedding plants like us?

    Kind regards,

    Calum

You could look at Chrysanthemum. Arisaema, Iris, Hepatica and Polygonatum. Chiltern Seeds have a section of Japanese Cut Flowers
