    honey bee, hi I have second thoughts in ordering J.Artichokes. my husband is very very poorly with recently diagnosed chrons disease and I dont think it is good for him to eat this veg. I planned to and ste aside a patch for growing them.

    I have ordered some and cant wait to try them! I will just eat them on a friday when i know im staying in all weekend, not very sociable food then, worse than sprouts do you think?
    I want to try artichoke chips!

    What a gas.
    Are the environmentalists on to this yet? It has bound to have implications for the greenhouse effect with all that methane. :D :D

    supersprout, that looks delicious yummmmmmmmmmmmmmy I suppose you could say that about onions, peas well I alone will have to eat it. I'll just make sure I am not going to court the next day.

    why dont they just add an 'F' to the beginning of the name? Then you'd know.

    I've had them a few times and had no ill effects but then again I seem to have a stomach of iron. Probably years of eating dodgy stuff at the wrong times. Cold curry in the morning etc.

    Marshall's have them at �£9.75 per 25 and Thompson & Morgan at �£11.95 per 20. Try "Googling" and you'll find their web sites.

    Now october and the artichoke
    plants are huge and now in flower. Should I cut them back now or just leave them!
