Anyone who has an account with Jersey Plants Direct will probably know that they are now Gardening Direct, nothing has changed EXCEPT postage is not free anymore unless orders are over £50.

I have bought plugs from them for several years and only had a serious problem once, which on sending pics of the poor plant quality, sent a replacement straight away. Maybe more bad reviews are given than good.

I had the same bad opinion for Parkers who in the early years stacked 'em high and sold them cheap and you could never be sure if the actual plant(s) were any good or even what you ordered. Their Customer Service was atrocious then but, credit where credit is due, they seem to have gone under a comprehensive change and their Plants are bad at all, plus their Customer Service is excellent with them e-mailing you on up-dates or problems with orders, while still giving good value for money.:love30:

Having dealt with both firms. I tend not to base too much on customer comments. I stopped dealing with Jersey plants. It was the couiers that wre the problem. Parkers. I have dealt with them since the 1960. Odd slip up, but repacements ent by return.

Concerning feedback. Today I got a text from my GP surgery. The name has changed from Sherard Medical Center to Everest health partnership. Checking out the website. Some of the feedback is so insulting.

We rarely buy from any of the seed companies as we have more than enough coping with our own cuttings and with what people give us but Mrs Shiney ordered some bulbs from Parkers the other week. They arrived promptly but in one of the bags the bulbs were covered in mould. She contacted them immediately and within just a few days we received replacements plus a potted plant as compensation. :blue thumb:

They also said that the ones with mould on would peobably be OK so plant them anyway.

              Pretty good service. :)
