I see that part of Countryfile on BBC 1 tonight at 18.00 hours is about planting "very" early potatoes in Jersey.

I for one will be watching with interest!

whats the earlieast you can plant? and when? I mean i had last year some so called early, forgot the variety, but my main crop and loved desiree was much bigger and sooner then the early, so really need some advice? dont trust the suplliers anymore
