    Bought a couple from the Greengrocer this morning, to have with Sunday roast lamb tomorrow.
    How's best to cook them ?

    I boils them in their skins, the skin just peels away when they're done.

    Don't stray to far from the loo if you've not had them before, some folk have a bit of a violent reaction to them [​IMG]

      There a quite a lot growing wild on the allotments.
      Nobody seems that interested in digging them up.

      I tried them once, years ago, I know why nobody is that interested;)

                    Jerusalem Artichokes (AKA farty-chokes and advocated for use as 'wind breaks') don't adversely affect me, but as other family members displayed the classic symptoms I stopped growing them. I'd rather have damaging winds at the plot than at home.
