jeyes fluid

    can i still use jeyes fluid on my allotment?

    It's like the highly rated Armillatox, only legal for sale as general disinfectant, not as fungicide. It works very well for 'disinfecting' blackspot on roses! :D

    jeyes is still on sale, you can use it if you want to, but i dont recommend you drink it, even in small doses

    Liz, have you seen what they drink on the west side 'o Scotland. Jeyes is considered a high class drink there :D

    I have been a big Jey's fan for years. When you use it the smell makes you think you have done a solid job, legal or not I'll be using it. Creosote as well, occasionally. If its any good its probably illegal. [another proverb]

    I used to love the smell of creosote, haven't got any left now. Still use Jeyes , but haven't tried the Armillatox.

    amarilltox for blackspot, what about aphids, i cant imagine they ll like a mouthfull or soapsuds and one would think they d have trouble keeping a grip on the plant stems too.....

    I am a Jeyes fan as well,the lovely clean fresh smell lasts for ages,especialy in the greenhouse.
    Good for cleaning water butts as well.
    Jeyes and rum,a well known cocktail down south. :eek: ..................................

    I bought Jayes in spray bottles at Aldi last week, great for spraying greenhouse staging etc. easy to use!

    Jayes fluid for men? now that's taking it a bit too far, a bath now and then should do the trick!!
