    is jeyes fluid still ok to put on my allotment/cannot get any sense out of the makers

    I have been using jeyes fluid for years, don't think it's changed. I use it as general disinfectant, against black spot on roses, moss/algae on paths. Apparently it is no longer licensed for use as an insecticide, but other than that I think you're OK.

    I aggree with Liz, It is the only thing I use [being mostly organic] to clean out trays, pots, greenhouse, socks and so on. It can be nasty if splashed onto skin. I have one small grandson and I keep it well away from him. High shelf of coarse. So long a you don't have a health and saftey officer digging in the next allotment you should alright. socks ? joke.
