    What did you do today??

I laid slabs for a base under my recently acquired Cold-frame...

and completed laying blue brick blocks to the lawn edges,I had thought I'd done the lot a couple of weeks ago but missed this bit

Mowing is so quick now and the added bonus of not having to clip the edges either! ;)

Believe it or not, I used up 600 ltrs of compost today potting up, and 'm sick of it, may spend first day tomorrow of 3 wks worth of weeding 2 borders. A bit late know, but time and conditions are right now.

I put the bean poles up. so that is one job less to do in 4 weeks time.

Looks good Nick, I am a big fan of brick edged lawns and paths. Like you say much easier to cut the grass [IMG]

I took the opportunity of some sunshine to have a good tidy up. Amazing what you can do in a day. I have also been preparing the pots for a bit of treefern re-arranging and gave my new tree fern some sunshine, as it has been in the garage since yesterday :D

wow, incredible how the roots of such big trees can be contained in a proportionally small pot...

We have a Garden Centre in the next village which now specializes in exotics,I haven't been for years..since my son worked there..but I,m told Banana trees cost a lot, something like £70-100 for a three footer!...Is that right??
