    Because I have great difficulty getting up and down to ground level I Raised my new cold frame up to a more suitable height. I bought a cheap self-assembly coffee table, treated it with wood stain and mounted the frame on that. Here is my setup.

    I also installed an LED broad spectrum grow light in my potting shed to help my early seeds germinate.
