    Hi all

Rather than buy I thought a swap would be good .

I am after Geranium Johnstons Blue also Varigated Yellow Loosestrife

    I have lots to swop:

    • Day Lily a couple of variety's to choose from
    • My own seedlings of Agapanthus ready to pot on (1 year old) and they will romp away in a bigger pot might be small now !!! but.....
Let me know, PM if you want or have a chat on the main forum up to you

Spruce, I have a blue geranium but I don't know which one it is, if you can find a picture for me please, I'll see if it's the one you're after. :)

I've got one of two Geraniums very similar to Johnstons Blue, Spruce, but I confess I couldn't be sure unless I had a bona fide Johnstons Blue to compare against them. The trouble with photos is that you can't rely on the colours for accuracy, although JB has seven lobes to the leaf which might help. But it's too early to do any comparison. In the meantime lets hope someone actually knows they've actually got one.:D

Mine are very similar, Spruce...........but I'd have to check the lobes of the leaf to be really, really sure..............seven is a lucky number though! :heehee:

        No worries about the Ags!!!:D

Spruce it does look like the one I have. Below is a picture of it coming into bloom for the second time. Sorry the picture isn't very good and the flowers are showing lavender but they are actually bright blue. It's deciduous of course and if you are interested I'll split it and send you part of it as it's just a rootball at the moment. :)

          Hi Simbad.
I've also got both. I didn't know the proper name. Here they're known as:-
          1. Old Fashioned Geranium
          2. The Green & yellow Weed thing.

          Afterthought.
Just in case it wasn't generally known, both are thoroughly tough as old boots and can be hacked up, transplanted, given away etc. and are 100% guaranteed to grow wherever they get put.
Ideal for the new starter that isn't sure they can grow anything - these you can CERTAINLY grow successfully
