We have already got a section called
'Gardening Humour' (Non-Gardening Section)
that was started July 2005!

Hasn't been used much lately as jokes etc.
seem to be included in lots of the postings.

 

Thats fine as long as its understood that non-gardening jokes, within the limits of acceptability, aren't frowned upon.

What do you call a group of daisy's.... 'a Herd' will get a bit same old same old. :D

Can you perhaps rename it 'Gardener's Humour' ?

 

No - you call a group of daisies a moderation of moderators!!

 

I would have thought Gardening Humour would cover all eventualities!

Whatever is within the limits of acceptablity would be ok. If people log onto that section they would be aware it is intended to be humour! :D

Hi jjordie, Im not too concerned about the name 'gardening humour' just makes me think that it would be plant related. My suggestion gardener humour or even jokes and funnies was purely to allay previous criticisms of posts not being about gardening.

I understand what you are saying but have you actually looked at the Gardening Humour section -more than 22 pages. As you will see it is definitely not just about gardening and never has been.

I think the section is fine, but having experienced crticism from 'he who shall not be named' I was concerned that others might not like it being called 'Gardening Humour' when its not purely gardening even though it is in the 'Non' Gardening section. I see it is well established and well used, I was just trying to cover all bases as being in the Non-gardeing section clearly wasn't enough to allay previous criticism.

What and where it is and the name are all good :D

P.S. have you ever wondered how they make the macdonalds burger patties ?
