My husband paved out the front of house, so this inspired me to try and make the side garden nice, starting with plants in pots.
It is all work in progress at the moment but I am happy with it so far.

Thanks for posting the pics, Julie, that's brilliant.:snork: Being a complete ignoramus could you tell us all what your climate is like, what sort of garden pests you get, etc, I think it would be very interesting for GC members to see you manage.:hapydancsmil:

I really love your plumeria and the tradescantia , the water pot is nice as well , love your garden , few magic touch and it will look fantastic.

ps do you have any problem with the bromeliad or you just watering them a lot?

No real problems with the bromeliad, I have been watering them a lot. They like the shade, but I am still a real beginner at gardening- meaning I have no clue what I am doing.:)

Hi Julie! I'm Julie as well! Looks like you've made a good start and have some lovely plants. Have you thought of painting the fence? It can really make the plants stand out. One of out members painted his black and it looks amazing!!

Well done Julie - you've made a great start - hubby too with his paving. You also sound as if you are enjoying it which is what gardening is all about. Keep us posted.
