Can you imagine me, bending over on the pavement to get a macro shot of something growing in the crack of paving :D

Very good choice of subject this month [IMG]

well when you have put your zoom lens on some little weed in the footpath it will turn into a beautifull flower..their are some in the wildflower section that you wouldnt even notice till the zoom goes on them then they blossom as a beautifull flower..i hope you all have your wellingtons on scrambling through the brambles looking for something growing wild !and if anyone sees you bending over the footpath they will definately think you have lost it !! weed patrol here we come...

If only I could get my mobile phone to download - I've got some photos I took of wild orchids locally! Maybe they'll still be there when I go back with my camera...... Nice choice, Wildflower!

Excellent topic and one that will be a real eye opener. We all live in different places and each one of us will have loads of wild flowers on our doorstep. Wild flowers are making a real come back as local authorities no longer spray and mow everything like they did in the 70's and 80's. Road side verges are good places to look, so park in a layby and have a look (assuming its safe of course) Come August - all will be mown so now is the time :D
