Acting upon the suggestion by sheal, I give you one Xmas pudding.:)

I still need to play around with it to get it looking right, but it's close.

    The final construction stages.

I have just realised that I forgot to put the coin in again!

ARMANDII, I must admit that I was just starting to get fed up by late afternoon yesterday and my mind was more focused on getting indoors to warm up. I just need to get hold of some logs to start a fire with.:D

Redstar, you can never have too much time.:)

Amongst many other ideas, this is my next proposed project.

I fancy making a large free standing collage from knotty slab wood. I was thinking that it could have one central stainless steel pole for support, then each piece could be held together with thin stainless steel rods.
Knowing me though, it'll change into something completely different by the time that it's finished.:D

The Mum-In-Law turned up the other day after having been on a trip to a German Xmas market. She was carrying this..

The first thing that she said was "you could make these"

My reply was "You have just carrried a 2' high elk as hand luggage on a plane":heehee: Looks like I have another job.

Thanks very much for the dedication Eddie. You've made a fantastic job of the re-build and I love the holly and berries on top! :dbgrtmb::)

Dare I mention brandy sauce or custard! Now I'm pushing my luck, I'd best :runhills:

I'll continue to keep an eye on your 'adventures' with wood. :)

Sheal, there is a reason that this is my dream home.

                    I just wish I had
                    The TIME
                    The Money
                    The Skill,

Perhaps one day when I have won the £166m Euro lottery, seen all the world, tasted everything possible Then I will,
The only problem there would be I have the Money I have the Time, but money does not buy SKILL

Well done Eddie, and to satisfy Sheal, you could get a yellow cycle cape and drape it over the sculpture as CUSTARD :-)

Eddie, well on a more serious creative note. I saw this years ago, just loved it, unfortunately my home is not suiteable for it. However, I think in older homes it would fit well. So perhaps there is a market for it over there.

                          Thanks redstar.

You have given me an idea of how to smarten this free standing radiator cover/shelf that I am currently making.
