    Hi everyone. I've just joined the forum and hope to give/receive lots of advice. We've recently moved house and live in the Isle of Wight. The garden is huge - approx an acre - so I'll be looking for easy maintenance ideas. I've already got a few queries but will post these separately and hope the bright sparks among you can advise.

    Hi linlin.Welcome to GC.Nice to have someone on here from my favorite Island.
    Which part of the Isle Of Wight do you live?We were there in July staying at Newchurch.

    You have come to the right place as there are many gardening experts on here that can help you with your large garden so fire away :D :D

    Thanks for the welcome, think I may be using this forum a lot.
    We're in south Wight, about two miles inland - very rural.

    Welcome to GC - wow an acre!!!!!! I'd love a garden that big!!!!

    We took the darling kiddie-winkies over to Brightstone bay last year for a dinosaur & fossil hunting few days.... its really lovely over there.

    As I can see the Island from home, I'll give you a wave!!!
