My young plants are ready to go out. The ground is ready, complete with packed lunch but I'm loath to cut the apron strings.
Also, I'll have to water them

I have now planted out some of them. Please note that I will hold you entirely responsible if it doesn't rain on Tuesday

Planted out the morning glory seedlings this morning. Gave them a good soak last night and then once they had been planted in. Waiting for the rain which was supposed to be with us at noon. All sunshine.

Just to let you know, you're safe. It's raining @infradig .
It's weird how some plants seem to know within a few days that they've been out in the ground. I've noticed it with mature shrubs that have been planted out after being in containers for years. They seem to take a deep breath stretch out.
The gazanias are taking up a lot more space than they did a couple of days ago. I just hope they're not lairy colours.

The sweetcorn I planted out are getting away happily. Thoroughly enjoying the rain and warmth.
The babies I moved into the greenhouse are stretching themselves out now and beginning to get bigger. I am very nervous about planting out the courgettes, squash etc. I feel there is an army of slugs and snails just waiting for them.
