Soppy I know,but...Where did you have that first 'real' kiss? [IMG]

On my travels today I found myself at this spot.
Mrs Pal and I were just 14 when we shared our first kiss here one Summers evening.. [IMG]

Pal, 14 ... not sure I was quite aware of the opposite sex at that time having gone to convents and then a girls' school. I don't know where it happened nor with whom I have to admit .... but I'm sure it must have been nice. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I wasn't even allowed to date until I was 16 and I was in college then in America (I knew/know nothing about British boys/men), and then it was with my father's approval of the poor unfortunate boy. And if my father didn't like him, we never left the house ... well, the boy may have left but not with me with him! :(

Sis is online ... she can vouche for this ... this is the Dickensian manner in which we were brought up.

By the way, I love the romanticism in yours. [IMG]

I am sure that your wife will be very pleased of you to remember it, Paladin...
Mine was a much less romantic spot...a discoteque in a tuscany hotel, when it was still fashionable to have slow dance here and there amongst the disco tunes. I don't know if it still happens now... I have not been to one for ages !!!

the initial of the title is: H and the initials of the singer are: B J but, I will not reveal what song it is !!!

who would have imagined that one day I would have been able to understand the words of that song!!!

You've got a good memory Pal!

    and to answer your post:
I had just cycled 25 miles to the coast with friends and met these boys
(also cyclists). They somehow joined us on our return journey and halfway home
we stopped for a drink. Got chatting to one of them and he accompanied me rest
of the way home when he sneaked a goodnight kiss - I was 16 at the time.
And here we are still together 57 years later!
