Certainly one of my favourite places in all the world.

 

Kandy you have taken some great pictures there I really like the 5th one the sky looks stunning.

I also enjoy going round graveyards and taking pictures of the lovely old churches and also the war dead.
I always think it seems a nice way of honouring the ultimate sacrifice so many brave, man, women and boys made

Wew went there about four years ago in august but it looks like you had better weather in sept than we had. Lovely pics Kandy.

Thanks for bringing back some happy memories Kandy, i used to live in Whitehaven,and i worked as a Store Detective in all the the Woolworth stores in Cumbria,a different store every day,so i got to see all of the sights in all the different kind's of weather.The word "Beautiful" must have been invented for the Lake's.
