Hi Strongy,I decided to do a few as Black and White because when I was a child and used to go to those woods for picnics with my brothers and sisters and mum and dad,was at a time when nearly all photos were in black and white so thought I would take the photos as they would have been seen if I had been old enough to use and take photos in the 50's and 60's

 

Lovely Kandy Strange to revisit places from our youth isn't it.But that seems a happy place.

I really think that black and white brings out an atmosphere in a photo that colour doesn't quite achieve. Of course colour is lovely for all those beautiful flowers and mosses, but black and white is excellent for mood creation.

Well done.

You also take a very good close-up.

My fella James really likes photography of old trees and old derelict buildings. He has taken a lot here in Devon and I think they are great but he is very modest about them!

Keep showing us more Kandy, you have an eye for a good composition.
