As we are all getting closer to another Christmas and New year,I thought it would be nice to prepare for the snow we hopefully will get. These photos are taken up in the Peak District in Derbyshire, one of our favorite walking areas...

Thankyou Marge,we love this area especially in the winter and have spent many happy hours walking all over these hills. We usually have to book up telve months in advance for holiday accomadation as it is such a popular destination. [IMG]

The hills were full of people who had left their xmas celebrations to enjoy the snow.

Lovely photos Kandy. I'm glad you did the walking though and I just had to follow you from the warmth of the office. The third one in the "a walk to nowhere in particular..." series looks like the edge of the world, walk a bit further and you'll fall off!! Great pic!

Beautiful scenery, beautifully captured Kandy. Actually makes me wish that I liked snow, except through double glazing, or in photos like these.
