I've been collecting flags for several years now. Our kids brought us the first one from a holiday in the States, along with a bracket to mount them on and we have it out front on the porch support. Here are our two newest ones -

Red Cardinals, this is the one I asked them to bring me for the Christmas season -

They brought this one as a surprise -
Cat climbing up on a mosquito net on a door, you can feel the claws even! Front side -

    - and from the other side -

Both of these measure about 70 x 100 cm, the following one about 70 x 90 cm.

I'll post the others another time, must get them out of the closet.

    Thanks rosa.

When the kids gave us the first flag, we were in two minds as to whether to put it up or not. We first tried it out back on the patio but it looked very silly there. Once we had it out front we just loved it and since then there is always a flag hoisted to welcome people.

Thanks mackem and dq. The cat climbing up the mosquito net is the one that we have hoisted out front at the moment, it looks really good.

This one is not so much a flag as a hanging. The kids gave it to me several years ago and it it one of my favourite Christmas decorations. I always put it in a window but hung it on the wall to photograph it.
