This thread should go on for quite some time as I took so many pics of cats while on holiday.

I name most of them, then when Mr K and I talk about them, we know which is meant.

The first one I shall introduce to you is Pinto. He was a little darling and I wanted to take him home. He lived down at a restaurant in Pafos Harbour.

This is The Fisherman and he was another darling and a very friendly one.

We called him this because Peter would sometimes put the Brekkies or sausage bits between the bench planks and he would fish them out! I think he enjoyed it as he would look to see if there was any more there.

The last Brekkie couldn't be fished out of this bench, so Peter helped.

Then The Fisherman enjoyed a pet from the helping hand -

    Just posing -

Here you can see that he really can fish and then feed himself. First with his right hand -

    - and then with his left -

Another day he was snoozing up in this glass-bottom boat when we came and called. So he actually came down the ladder! -

This is Timmy and he was another lovely. friendly cat.

After a few times, he would come when we called. I like to think he recognized his name, but it was more likely the sound of our voices.

Sorry, Capney, I didn't see you as we posted at the same time.

Perhaps Ceffer and Mojo were on holiday in Cyprus at the same time we were :D

    Thanks shiney and Murphy.

How is Oscar doing, shiney, and how did he get on with you and Mrs shiney being away for so long over Christmas?

Here are two we met on the Promenade in Lemosos once. To introduce them to you, I have called them The Lemosos Two.

They both appeared immediately but didn't seem to be friends -

    Meet "The Lion".

His kingdom was down the Promenade at the partner hotel of ours and on the cliff side.

There were some other cats living there too, The Lion's subjects, you'll meet them another time.

I'm sure you'll agree that The Lion looks very regal and he moved slowly like a king, too. None of the scrabbling for tidbits for him either.

He kindly deigned to pose for me on the first day we met him -

    - then he calmly washed his face -

    - and finally took his leave and retreated to his place on the cliffs -

    - with a last look to see if I was still photographing him -

This next photo was taken on another day. He obviously had been in a fight with another tom but came out as the winner to return to his kingdom -

Lovely cats, Sis ... all of them ... but I must ask ... did you manage to get The Lion back home with you? What a beauty and a half beastie he is .... he has that 'don't mess with me' look about him. :ntwrth:
