Kerria Japonica want it on a trellis?

hi i planted a Kerria Japonica last year and it has grown alot and there are alot of buds on it, but it is hanging over my path alot, so i either want to move it, or somehow get it to trail up a trellis, how do i do something to basically get it off the pathway? thanks :o)

 

It`s a shrub, what do you expect? Just cut it back from the path.:gnthb:

 

I rhink you're being a bit harsh Dai!:flag:Dawn, have a look at http://www.maggiesgarden.com/Plant_Profiles/Plant_This/Kerria_japonica_/kerria_japonica_.html where it says: "Its lack of thorns suits formal training up an arbor or rose arch frame". I can confrim that it grows vigorously so now is probably a good time to get out the whip and the chair (and the trellis!) and start training.
