Yes thats the one I saw at Kew gardens:thumb: would you like to see it in full bloom? well even if you don't your going too LOL

PS: on a side note to Pete I was told off by my college tutor for calling it a titan arum as that isn't actually the common name :| it's one a that David Attenborough made up because he believed that the British public would prefer it too the full name Amorphophallus titanum, Personally i think it's an apt name for the size of the thing I just think my tutor doesn't like David Attenborough very much :D

Sorry to hijack a thread, but I was in Kew the day before yesterday and found a wonderful tree in the mediterranean garden which smelt of Play-Doh... I didn't find a label for it, but can anyone tell me what it was. The smell was so dinstinctive!

    Cheers

OMG woo, that's horrible. Sorry. Glad you know now what it is though.

pete, you're fibbing us. Or did you used to just have plain old plastercine when you were little? I did actually!! Didn't you have any youngsters that had it? It has a very lovely smell I think, which they probably put in to attract the kids and us parent/aunts/uncles/grandparents too!

    cheers
