Key West, Florida

Again this year, as the last 18 years in May we head for Key West, Florida for two weeks. Found this YOU Tube video which tells you why we go. We are involved with this treasure hunting society. Meeting like minded friends there, 400 of them each year, for week long parties, and a big costume party on the beach with live band. And to gather our loot found deep in the blue. This year we are again going on the dive boat to see if we can find anything ourselves.

That just seems like fun in the sun and an adventure at the same time. Just gonna go ahead and say it now, if you find something made of cold (preferably valuable) I remember ‘losing that’ sometime near Key West. In all seriousness, that sounds like an awesome vacation redstar!

 

thanks. It is alway wonderful. Several of us chatter before flying down, planning other parts of the week that events are not scheduled. Such as a good fishing trip, last year husband and I together caught 36 fish, two of which were large groupers, the rest yellow tail. Gave lots away to friends, and then met up with a few at a restaurant for a fish chow down. I alway rent a bike, love biking everywhere through the unique neighborhoods, and of course shopping, and people watching.
