Hi, Miss Selleri, 8 and 1/2 has been badly bitten by The Bug. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a site or a forum for kids starting on gardening, ideally with advise, ideas and peer support?

As Miss S is so young I'm very cautious with any discussion forums etc but feel that a hobby based one would be a good place to start.

And I think meeting other kids sharing the passion for gardening/ plants isn't a bad idea at all.

Do you have good experiences, suggestions or something to recommend? (Or ideas how to magically extend our back garden to accommodate the 101 species Miss S is planning to grow this summer?)

    Thanking you in advance! [IMG]

Ah, lovely. My daughter aged 7 and half loves gardening too, in fact I trust her sowing more than my own. I also watch where she goes on the internet. I wouldn't let her join a forum, she does know that I will come here for her if she needs to know anything, or just to post a piccie of a flower she has grown.

This is a site she found herself whilst looking for gardening gloves that would fit her, it really is more for you than her but hopefully it will give you some ideas at least.
