    Hi Arwyn
Its usual to use a sulphur candle at the end of the growing season or late winter/early spring before things get going. Are you leaving your green house behind & "cleaning" it for the new people (aah, that's really thoughtful [IMG] )? If you want to do it in December/January time, thats fine, or do you mean "this time" as in now? in which case I'd leave it till nights get a bit cooler, & do it before you put things back in (i.e. the end of the growing season) - hope this makes sense!
