I would like a knapsack sprayer for numerous garden and cleaning spray jobs . There is a huge choice on Ebay and Amazon . But there are several bad reviews of leaking and breaking . Can anyone advise a reputable make , only for occasional use ,so don't want to pay for a premium one. Also what size is best ? I can easily carry 20 litres , but it may be a bit off a job getting it on my back .

    TIA

I have used this one for several years and have found it fit for purpose.
You need to get used to it before you use it in earnest ,so practice with clean water first.
Once you get the hang of mounting it on your back with several litres aboard..........its a doddle.

I've got a Cooper Pegler CP15 which was very very good altho b heavy to use. It's god knows how old and I think it has a few "issues" and have a feeling it leaks if you bend over when it's on your back. It's not been used for a few years as it's now too heavy for me to use.
I have just had a look on the net and they retail at over £100 these days :yikes: but you can get spare parts.
If you'd like I could get it out and see what the actual problem is with it. If a new bit for it can be got would you like it? It would cost you maybe say £15 to courier it but you are welcome to it if it can be fixed.

Thanks @roders , and thanks for the offer @silu !
While I was having a search , this popped up in one of the advertising boxes that follow your around. It's a 16 litre one for £15 from Screwfix , with VG reviews :blue thumb:

Looks not bad Harry. It's not as big/ got such a comfy harness as my 1 but at that price you wouldn't expect quite so much. If it gets good reviews and you aren't going to be using it on a regular basis it should be fine.

Just for spraying the lawns with weed and feed a couple of time a year , and to clean the caravan we bought last year.
