    Hi Kathy

Here is a good site with lots of free patterns. Just go to FREE PATTERNS on the left then when the page comes up, Select a Category ...

temptation, temptation...I will also have to start to knit or crochet sooner rather than later. I do feel like something is missing in my life if I don't have an ongoing craft project at any time...
Mind that I have started quite a few...I have a lot of enthusiasm for starting but I am not as good as far as the completing is concerned...
    All the best - anyway!

Hello, mira, my little friend. [IMG]

There are some lovely patterns on this site ... the only problem is I prefer to crochet rather than knit now! Also, with crochet it is quick ... so you get a finished project. [IMG]

Kathy as Scotkat says keep us updated on your project.

One of the bonuses knitting with chunky wool is that no matter how slow you are at knitting your project grows really fast.

With all this talk of knitting I might just start up knitting 'big stuff' again, I have already knitted 3 scaves the other week for my little nieces for next christmas but that was really only a couple of hours work.

I myself like knitting cartoon characters on jumpers and they look really good even if I say so myself, if I do get round to doing one I'll let you all know with some pictures of course. [IMG]

Thanks for that link, LoL, I have saved it to my Favourites. I'm knitting a nice cardi in Noro self-striping wool which was a bit expensive but lovely to work with and I have high hopes of the finished result.
