laburnum

What small or medium shrubs will grow under a laburnum? Preferably summer, autumn or winter interest.

 

Laburnum is deciduous and doesn't give dense shade, so any shrub that doesn't need full sun will do fine, subject to being kept well watered until established. For autumn and winter interest, your probably looking at autumn leaf colour or stems. Take a look at the dogwoods and acers.
