For man years now my garden soil has become full of small plastic piecies, large, small stones, ceramic pieces, and generally a lot of annoying mess.

    Nothing hardly grows.

    What should be done?

Should I just invest in some small pots and stuff and giveup?

    Can anyone help?

I'm a newbie to gardening, who just wants to grow , but I dont know much...

    Hi there

Pots are fine, but you spend all the time watering them in summer, and even in winter if it's dry. Every year I vow to get rid of half of mine and every year I have lots in pots on the patio...

Have you tried improving the soil you have, removing the worst of the detritus (how did it get there??) and adding manure or additional top soil?

    hahah >.<

I'm sorry, but the title's confused a few.

It's not an actual land fill site, it's just reminds me of one.

Yes, I've tried removing it, but there so so so small, and it's really annoying and takes too much time and effort.

I've been thinking about getting some raised growing beds, to put on the soil I've already got.

do gardening beds need a bottom part? How can I know the earth wont just simply escape the timber frame.

    Err, please help?
