Hello! It's good to be back :)

I'm starting late with garlic and onions as I have been unwell over winter and didnt get them in, in time. I started much later last year and did really well with my crop. Hoping for the same. Although some of the bulbs had mooshed :(

Is it worth trying to get more cloves/bulbs to plant now or should I resign to a treetreetreetree yield?

Also should I leave them outside or protected in the greenhouse?

thanks in advance for your much welcome advice

Autumn planting varieties of Garlic needs the cold (it makes the cloves "split" and that's what produces cloves in the new bulbs). If the ground isn't ready get them into small pots / modules and get them outside - and hope for some cold weather ! and plant them out when the ground is ready.

Maybe search for weather you can kick-start them with a shock-spell in fridge or freezer

    Onions should be OK.
