Minimum charge is good for responsible people. Suggesting £20 minimum ok, but there will always be the one's that get to the till having put 8 quids worth in saying "my gauge isnt working" or "i thought she could take a bit more captain"

Well minimum charge, means just that.
Am I being unfair or are there really strange people out there like that.

Buy some Aspen fuel, this stuff for 4 stroke https://aspenfuel.co.uk/products/aspen-fuel/#a4 and this for 2 stroke Aspen 2 | Aspen 4 | Premixed Petrol | Aspen Fuel

I use the latter in my chainsaws (especially my pole chainsaw) when I'm not going to use them again for some time, so I don't need to drain them down before periods of disuse. Much more expensive than filling station petrol, but saves a lot of hassle (and possible expense if leaving fuel in machinery for prolonged periods).

The news is reporting that the North and the Midlands has seen a, "distinct improvement", with the situation stabilising. Yet, they are reporting in the south east the problem is apparently getting worse. You don't live in a neighbourhood were everyone is called "Jerry Khan" do you ? :heehee:

                Good try Starkers:

Sir Keir Starmer said the party would never again go into an election without a "serious plan for government"

Wasn't their serious plan last time to offer everything for free?!
The revised plan from Starmer will probably be 'everything free for the dossers, and tax the employed up to the eyeballs'
Ok it's a cynical view but maybe not too far from the truth.
It might help Labour if they could get shot of Angela Rayner from her deputy position and shove her into the back benches. When you think back to really credible people like Labours John Smith (respected from both sides of the house) it makes you wonder just how bad the tories will need to be before the public are desperate enough to vote in Labour.

I think Labours problems are two fold.
Firstly, Blair although liked at the time, became a bit too big for his boots, which kind of knocked that type of Labour on the head.
Then the likes of Corbin and the left too over, and they proved to be totally unelectable.

So the two faces of Labour are not good.

At least you know what to expect from the Torys, they will squeeze you dry, whilst pretending not to.

My relative got a begging letter from the Dept of Transport yesterday pleading for them to go back to driving artics.Having driven artics all over Britain and abroad for over 5 years, they know exactly what the job is like and as they put it” I’d be insane to go back even if they offered me double the salary”.
Actually Shiney my relative calls lorries trucks and nowadays people often talk about truck stops rather than lorry parks. However, I think they still talk about bonnets and not hoods:heehee:.
