    Hi Gardeners,

I wonder if anyone knows what might be happening to my newly planted laurels. Leaves seem to be eaten / damaged / diseased on many of the plants. I've included pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

They are being watered every day unsing a slow drip pipe.

Hi Dave, welcome to GC. I'm afraid I'm not much use on this but it does look as if something is eating them. You might just be having a visit from the vine weevil. If you are then imidacloprid is the stuff to use. If you Google it I am sure you will find a supplier. But make sure first that that is the cause.

Dave, the browning on the leaves, and the holing look to me like scorch. The bare stems, however, look quite different, any chance of a close up photo?
