    Hello all

    I hope you are well.

Of all the Plants I have in my Garden, the ones that confuse me the most regarding Pruning are the Lavenders.

What is the correct way to Prune Lavender, I have English Lavender and Cotton Lavender.

Due to Health issues Last Year my Garden did not get the attention it needs and as a result the Lavender did not look good come Spring.

In March, I cut them all back to New Growth Lower Down, making sure I did not cut below New Growth in the Plant and they have all recovered well.

As an aside, I have Two, what I thought were identical Lavender Plants, however, as they have Grown, one has Green Leaves and one has more of a Silver Leaf, why?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

    Kevin

        Hello @Sheal

        Thanks for that, very helpful.

Surprisingly, what was described is exactly what I have been doing, maybe instinctively.

I Basically cut the Shrubs right down to just above the lowest point of Growth.

Nice to know I am capable of doing something right.

        Thanks

        Kevin
