    Hi all,

I’m hoping for some advice - I’ve noticed some large areas of brown patches appearing on my lawn. Looking at the shape I’m thinking it could be an animal?

    Really appreciate any help.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Hi @jackw it looks a bit widespread for animal wee, and some bits look like footprints. Could someone have accidentally stepped in weedkiller and walked over lawn? I know someone who did that and left a trail over their lawn!

I've seen marks on grass when one of the weed and feed products has been used and then it's been walked on before a suitable period of time has passed. Similar to what you're saying @CarolineL
It's certainly looks very like a trail of 'wear' from a person going back and forth.
Is that a possibility @jackw ? Maybe when attending to the planting in the border to the side.

Have you used any chemicals on your paving recently such as Patio Magic or bleach and then walked on the grass? Moss killer and weed killer can have similar effects.
