    Afternoon All,

We removed a brick pathway which was set into the lawn last year and i need to try and even the lawn out as we're left with a slight ridge where the bricks were. I've also got a few 'pot holes' dotted around the place and the lawn is generally a bit bumpy. Ideally i'd like a really nice flat, even lawn but i'm being realistic as i know that it takes a lot of time. I've been told that a local greenkeeper at a golf club mixes some substance with sand and scatters it in the holed areas to build the lawn up so i was thinking of doing this. I've also heard of people sectioning off say a square metre of lawn at a time and evening it out....has anyone done this as well?

Anyway, any hints or tips would be gratefully received.

    Regards

    Jim
