You could also search for "lawn edging" in the forum search as there may well be more ideas, also try variants such as "edging" on its own.

You could also try "googleing" for "lawn edging" or something along those lines, amongst the chaf there is always some really good ideas.

Of coarse, there is the obvious tanalised wood from builders merchants or garden centre, or concrete sections, again shop around, you may find something that is not made solely for lawn edging - there is also rolls of semi circular pieces of wood or plastic edging of various sizes.

    Hope this helps

Plastic edging always looks ... well... plastic.

Re-used bricks, placed on their side, just below the level of the lawn, can blend in nicely

I'm using some aluminium alloy edging by 'Rite Edge' not cheap but will last. Has the advantage over wood in that it can be curved. However the border needs to be re-profiled so that it is lower where it meets the lawn

I've used wooden slats, old fence posts and even decorative stones in various areas of the garden. Once the plants grow up and sprawl all over the place, you hardly notice it.
