If you have a postage stamped size lawn they would probably be ok. Personally, I would suggest you get another small, light, petrol mower.:dbgrtmb:

Have you thought of one of these? Push Mower, hand mower, push lawn mower I use a 50 year old model for one of my clients, fantastic quality of cut. I keep meaning to get myself a new Brill Razorcut to use at home.

Micky, bear in mind that the price may go up quite a bit by the spring as that is when people buy new mowers. :D

Hi Michaeljohn. I purchased a Qualcast Concorde 32 Cylinder Electric mower last year and i find it a great mower. i had 2 hover mowers previous and i would never go back to the hover after using a cylinder. it gives a better cut and does not tear the grass as much as the hover single rotor blade.as shiney said above they will be more expensive coming near spring.
i purchased my one on December and it was considerably cheaper..

        Etesia Lawnmower | eBay

if you want a good petrol mower:

a bargain ... £120 buy it now .... 5.5HP honda engine ... collection only (but worth the drive)

seller says its in good condition

needs a grassbox which is fairly cheap

if you search ebay, you can get a 'man with with a van' for under £50

he collects and delivers (bought a 1940's vintage bicycle from Wales for my daughter ... delivery cost was £50)

not sure of the model of the Etesia mower, but at a guess (based on the engine), a new one may cost near £1000?

Hey Dim i was looking for a Cordless Mower really , but they are going to be too expensive at around 400 pounds.. im tempted to get a push mower as suggested by AxL.. ive had enough of cables attached to lawn mowers unless i could get a small petrol mower, but most are rather large

Have a word Dim! A fully working Etesia at £150 is like winning a free ticket to see Pink Floyd in your own sitting room with Naomi Campbell serving Strawberry daiquiris topless whilst telling you you've just cured cancer and won the Euromillions at the same time.

If it is what the auction says it is it would have been sold a long time ago.

there's many a bargain to be had on ebay

seller says it works .... says collection and payment on collection , so i doubt that he would lie?...

go collect and I suppose he would show that it works?

I'm just trying to help, and thought this is a bargain (which I think it is)
