Hi i am very new to gardening as i lived in a flat.
Anyway i have joined here in hope of some advice.
I have just moved into a house that had a large veg patch about 80 sq meters. Anyway i have kids so wanted a lawn. I cleared all mud about 6 inchs down then seeded.
The seed has been down 2 months and doing very well, but i seem to have some weeds which i dont know wgat they are or a safe way to get shot of them without killing the new lawn.
I am posting some photos in hope that someone can identify them. Some are larger and a different species.
    Many thanks

On a new lawn for the first 6 months I would just mow to let the lawn get established, many weeds do not like close mowing so this will clear them anyway.

Second thoughts, looks like a square stem so might be a mint, does it smell?

Most weeds dissappear in a new lawn once you mow regularily as Lawnman said.
Next spring you can use a "weed and feed" fertiliser to clear any stubborn ones.
I doubt its bind weed, but if it is the mowing will probably sort it out.

Yeah, it looks like mint to me also.
