LAWN RESEEDING TIP

    After removing larger individual weeds from the lawn with a long bladed knife, they leave behind a quite a space of non grass. Fill the area with your own Grass plugs and it will look like new staright away.

    Scrounge a pot carrying tray [3"size] from the GC and fill with compost to depth of pot grips. Sow seed over individual segments and when geminated you have ready made grass plugs.

    Much better than seeding gaps in the lawn and risking sucking the lot up the mower.

    I like this idea as well - my dog has a desperate need to p.e arond the lawn leaving brown patches here and there - i could manage these as well using 'vegman's tip.
