Hi there hopefully someone out there can help.....:help:
We are moving to a new house on friday , we have a toddler.
when we viewed the property we noticed a quantity of dog poo on the back lawn, just wondering if there was any product available that can "clean" the lawn. If not any suggestions on how best to sanitise the grass would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks

Hello & welcome to the forum madhoose2k.

We have had a number of threads about dog poo recently, you might like to search for them.

I would suggest initially you remove all visible poo (obviously)! Then give the grass a fairly drastic mow to cut off as much long grass as possible, (ensure the grass clippings are picked up obviously!)

I would then spray all the lawn with a mild solution of Jeyes fluid.

I`d clean the dog mess off, skim the grass down to soil level. Treat with a mildish Jeyes solution , leave for a week to 10 days. Then rotovate, level and re seed.

When a little kiddie is involved, you don`t take chances. Give the child a new, CLEAN lawn.:thmb:

Yeah your right, hope its a small patch of lot. But with the moving, and the toddler tending and someone working outside the home its still a lot. Maybe they could tell the prior owners to do it. Or have it done.
