Recently attacked the garden with Verdone around a month ago and 80% of the weeds have vanished so I was one happy man until our grass started looking thin?

At first I thought it's probably where it was so thick with weed but it's like this all over.

Hasn't been mower in two weeks and this is how it looks

    Hi

Where roughly do you live , as here in Wales we have had wall to wall rain , which has kept everywhere green.

    Have you fed the lawn?

      Hi Spruce!

I'm from Somerset so our weather couldn't be far off yours!

No I haven't as of yet would you say that's then next step to take?

Very recently have purchased a electric lawn rake, tub of growmore and spreader so it is sat there waiting to be used!

yes not far away from me I can see the coast line on a sunny day :yay:

to early for the electric lawn rake

dont use growmore on the lawn and I doubt the spreader will spread it for you as the manufactures are sneaky and you have to buy the fertiliser other wise its get stuck in the machine I learnt that then hard way

For now I would just cut once a week on the middle cut, so no no1 all over :yikes:

Have a look into lawn prep for Autumn and start then and get it all ready for the following year also its a good time to re seed late summer as we have the warmth and the soil will be moist as well
Just the wrong time of year to sow and weed and feeds get it wrong with the dosage and the sun will reek havoc.

Cut it at a high setting twice a week. Plenty of water and will soon thicken out again. :-)
