I want advice on using a selective weed killer on a lawn which has crocus planted in it. They have all gone over and the grass has been cut several times. Can I use a selective weed killer without risking damaging the crocus and if so how much longer should I leave it?

It will be fine to use one now Jocko, assuming it's just a lawn weed killer. Don't forget to stick to the advised dose.

I used Evergreen 4 in 1 lawn feed and weed killer last year in mid May, I didn't think at the time as I have a few crocuses that have naturalised. The crocuses all came back OK this spring so I agree with Sheal, you should be OK.

I think I will try that. I also need to have a go at overseeding but I may leave that till the back end.

I still have half the pack to apply this year, I've been waiting for the right weather conditions i.e. rain! I could use a sprinkler but too mean to pay as I'm on a meter.
